James A. Marley, Ph.D.

Dr. Marley joined the School of Social Work faculty in 1998 and teaches in the MSW and PhD programs. He teaches courses in the HBSE, methods, and research sequences. Dr. Marley's research and writing focus on the use of family therapy in the treatment of severe mental illness, the role of environmental variables on the lives of people with severe mental illness, and ethical issues within the helping professions.
