Kevin B. Erickson

Kevin Erickson has an extensive background in rural and urban-based agriculture systems as well as aquaponics. Erickson helped design and manage several urban agriculture sites in Chicago from 2009-2013 as a Manager of the Chicago Botanic Garden's Windy City Harvest and Green Youth Farm programs, including the two-acre Rodeo Farm at 26th and Western. He also worked as a consultant during this time in developing and managing urban farm systems and soil remediation for non-profit organizations. In 2013, Erickson joined IES and created the Urban Agriculture Program within the Institute of Environmental Sustainability, organizing all food production spaces, internships, and research into one cohesive program.
