| Description | Founded in 1940, the Ateneo de Naga is a Filipino, Catholic and Jesuit University in the Bicol Region, Philippines. It seeks the integral formation of men and women who will contribute to the total development of the family and human society. The University takes pride in being the only school in Southern Luzon granted by the Philippine Commission on Higher Education with Autonomous Status. It has the regions most Centers of Development: in Information Technology, Business Administration and Entrepreneurship; and Center of Excellence in Teacher Education. For quality assurance, its programs in Arts and Sciences, Commerce, Education, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer and Communications Engineering are accredited by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities. The same accrediting body recognized the University as one of the few in the country with Institutional Accreditation. |
