Please join us for a celebratory brunch to honor the December 2018 graduates of Loyola University Chicago's School of Communication. Our guest speaker this year is Maria Randazzo, a New York based writer, comedian, and actress. Prior to moving to NYC, Maria spent nine years doing sketch and improv comedy in Chicago. Most recently, she wrote and performed in She The People at The Second City's UP Comedy Club where the press called her a *very notable up-and-comer*. She toured the U.S. with The Second City and spent several months with them at sea performing aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines. Also in Chicago, Maria wrote and performed her solo show, Lady of Solitude, and improvised at the iO Theater, The Annoyance, and with Baby Wants Candy. She trained at the iO Theater, The Second City Conservatory, and she's a graduate of Loyola University Chicago (2009) where she studied journalism and theater. Students may bring up to two guests to the brunch. All December 2018 graduates are welcome to participate in the university commencement ceremonies in May 2019. A formal invitation will be sent to you early in 2019 through your LUC email, which is a lifetime email account.
