    On Saturday, April 27, 2019, Loyola University Chicago, Office of Civic Engagement will be hosting the first segment of the Courageous Community Conversations series titled Going Beyond February, Unconscious Bias in Every Day Life.

    The keynote speaker is Josie Gough, Assistant Dean for Work Inclusion, Diversity and Equity, and the Director of Experiential Learning and Professional Development at Loyola's School of Law. Dean Gough has taught numerous classes and conducted forums regarding diversity and equity. Her talk will focus on identifying implicit bias within ourselves, its effects on our lived experiences and solutions for everyday problems that result in our communities.
