    Loyola University's lakeshore campus is hosting the 2019 meeting of the Midwestern Conference on British studies. Scholars of British history and literature from across the midwest, the United States, and the world will congregate for panels, roundtables and other events from September 26-29. Keynote speakers include Jordanna Bailkin of the University of Washington and Carole Levin of the University of Nebraska. The British Consul to Chicago Mr. John Saville will also give a talk at a reception on Friday evening.
