Fair use is an important limitation and exception to copyright law, but it¿s not always easy to know how it applies in individual situations. Get ready for Fair Use Week (February 24-February 28, 2020) through this demonstration and guided discussion about what fair use really means and tips about how to tell if your intended use is fair. We will share some ideas and techniques for how to use fair use in teaching and research, and invite you to share your own experiences with your colleagues. We will focus on digital and media projects, but all types of research are welcome.
