Join us to hear Professor Helen Kang, Director of Golden Gate University's Environmental Justice Clinic in San Francisco, CA, present a lecture to explore the connections between environmental justice and the Black Lives Matters movement. During her talk, Prof. Kang will use as a case study the cleanup of a contaminated site in the San Francisco Bay Area. There will be time for questions and discussion after the lecture.
This lecture is the second in a year-long series on the Social Impacts of Environmental Injustice, presented by Loyola University Chicago School of Law's Environmental Law Society (ELS) in cooperation with the Black Law Students Association (BLSA), Latinx Law Students Association (LLSA), and Asian and Pacific Island American Law Students Association (APALSA).
