Join us to hear Jacqueline Patterson, Director of the NAACP's Environmental and Climate Justice Program. She will discuss and take questions about the many forms environmental injustice takes in the United States, the environmental connections to the BLM movement, and what has and is being done at the grassroots level to address these issues. There will be an optional community discussion from 5-6pm CST after the lecture.
This lecture is the third in a year-long series on the Social Impacts of Environmental Injustice, presented by Loyola University Chicago School of Law's Environmental Law Society (ELS) in cooperation with the Black Law Students Association (BLSA), Latinx Law Students Association (LLSA), and Asian and Pacific Island American Law Students Association (APALSA).
