Animal Studies, Ecocriticism, and Posthumanism meet in the space created by urgent cries for a better world.

In this virtual symposium, Dr. Joshua Bennett and Dr. Kath Weston will address our linked desires for ac-tionable ethics generated across these fields. By uniting through our shared stakes, we hope to develop a more ethical orientation and practice for our writing, our teaching, and our larger communities.

9:45 AM CST Kath Weston, author of Animate Planet
12:45 PM CST Joshua Bennett, author of Being Property Once Myself
These two keynote panels will also feature three respondents and a period of Q&A.

Attendance is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
