August 2021 Focus on Teaching and Learning: Taking Lessons Learned onto Campus
This August 2021 FOTL conference provides us with an opportunity to pause and reflect on how our teaching and learning have evolved during the pandemic. What approaches and strategies did we adopt during the pandemic to facilitate student learning and engagement, and how do we want to bring those forward into future terms? What practices did we abandon, to keep them in the ¿before times,¿ and why? How might higher education and the ways we teach and facilitate learning continue to change after the pandemic? How has remote learning further informed our understandings about equity and anti-racist pedagogy? Sessions will focus on how teaching and learning at Loyola changed during the pandemic, and how such changes will inform and improve our future practice and pedagogy.
