    Ariel Fleenary is a graduate student at Loyola pursuing dual graduate degrees in Women's Studies & Gender Studies and Social Work. She is the winner of the Mary S. Griffin Award for Excellence in Graduate Writing.
    During her lecture, Ms. Fleenary will discuss the findings of her research on the topic of contemporary feminist arguments surrounding three types of Non-consensual Genital Cutting: *female genital mutilation*, routine infant circumcision, and genital *normalization* surgery performed on intersex infants in the United States. Ms. Fleenary will also share information on the Mary S. Griffin Award and the application process for interested Graduate level students.
