    The University of Queensland developed the 3-Minute Thesis® Competition where students summarize their research in 3 minutes using pre-determined guidelines. The competition supports their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.   
    Loyola University Chicago is in its 7th year of hosting a Three Minute Thesis Competition. Our first place winner is nominated to participate in the competition at the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools competition to be held during the 2023 Annual Meeting in Chicago, March 29-31. Our first place winner also receives $200. 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive $150 and $100 respectively.
