St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital is one of the most renowned pediatric cancer hospitals in the country and is internationally recognized for pioneering research and treatment of childrens cancer and debilitating diseases. The mission of St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of founder Danny Thomas, who was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a familys ability to pay.

Tau Kappa Epsilon is committed to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital. Jokes for Judes is a philanthropy event with the purpose of raising essential funds for this great charity. In order to do this, performers from the Second City comedy group will be coming out to Loyola for a performance in Mullady Theatre on Friday, February 21st at 7 PM. Doors will open at 6:30 PM. We will be selling tickets for $15 starting on Monday, February 10th in the Damen Student Center, and any extra tickets will be sold at the door of the event. We encourage everybody to come out to support a great cause and have some laughs. We will be having a reception with food and music for all interested.
