This research conference will commemorate the bicentennial of the Restoration of the Society of Jesus (1814-2014) and a century of womens education at Loyola University-Mundelein College (1914-2014). The primary aim is the promotion of new research by recasting familiar materials within perspectives of recent historical approaches. Confirmed speakers include:
- Carol K. Coburn, Professor, Departments of Religious Studies and Womens Studies, Avila University
- Timothy J. Gilfoyle, Professor and former Chair, Department of History, Loyola University Chicago
- John T. McGreevy, Professor, Department of History, and Dean of the College of Arts & Letters, University of Notre Dame
- Robert Orsi, Grace Craddock Nagle Chair in Catholic Studies, Department of Religious Studies, Northwestern University
