The 2015 Ann F. Baum Women and Leadership Speaker Series featuring Adrienne Bailey, PhD, Senior Consultant, Panasonic Foundation and Mundelein College Alumna

On March 25, 1965, 28 Mundelein students along with faculty and other supporters engaged in one of the most compelling issues of our times: ensuring voting rights for African American citizens who had been systematically disenfranchised from full participation in our democracy. One of the Mundelein students who participated in the Selma Freedom March is Adrienne Y. Bailey, PhD. She will reflect on how the Freedom March transformed her life and has shaped her leadership in breaking the links between race, poverty and educational outcomes throughout her career.
