    When a hot-headed opera house manager books an acclaimed singer in hopes of saving the business, a comedic tale of mistaken identity ensues. Max, the manager's neurotic assistant, leads a colorful cast of eccentric individuals through a web of romantic pursuits and zany antics in this farce set in the mid-1930s.
