    E-board members of all School of Communication student organizations are invited to attend a training session that will cover event and program planning; answer your questions on financial procedures; and allow you to meet other organization members and SOC staff and faculty.

    Who should attend?
    ¿        E-board members of School of Communication student organizations, especially the president and treasurer or whomever is charged with planning programs and events
    ¿        Faculty advisors to SOC student orgs
    ¿        Any student interested in planning programs or events within the School of Communication

    Here are a few items we¿ll cover:
    ¿        Logistics: we¿ll cover everything from how to reserve a space to making sure you have the appropriate AV for your event.
    ¿        Promotion: you¿ve reserved a space, recruited speakers, and ordered catering. Now how to make sure people come! We¿ll cover some promotional ideas, including ways the Dean¿s Office staff can assist in promotion.
    ¿        Finances: SOC Business Manager can answer any financial questions you might have.
    ¿        Meet and greet: meet SOC staff and representatives from SOC student orgs to share information and collaborate.
    ¿        Eat! We¿ll provide snacks and coffee.
