    Join our colleagues in the English Department for the Svaglic Chair Inaugural Lecture, *The Past, the Present, and the Material Object,* by Professor Paul Eggert. Dr. Eggert, who recently came to Loyola from the University of New South Wales in Australia, will discuss the ways in which material culture, including texts, connect us to the past.
