In this brown bag lunch seminar, Dr. Susan Buchanan, Family Physician, Director of the Great Lakes Center for Children's Environmental Health and Clinical Associate Professor at the UIC School of Public Health, will discuss environmental toxins and child health. Dr. Buchanan will address types of exposures to assess in clinical settings, as well as remedies once exposures have been identified and resources for more information. In addition, she will touch on how these exposures violate children's essential human rights and the policy implications of our increasing knowledge of their potential to harm.
