    Join Human Rights Watch for a unique panel discussion on the Syrian refugee crisis from international, national and local perspectives. HRW Refugee Program Director Bill Frelick, Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights CEO Lawrence Benito, and Syrian Community Network Executive Director Suzanne Akhras Sahloul will examine a myriad of issues facing refugees on multiple front lines. Presented in partnership with the Weinberg/Newton Gallery in support of Soul Asylum, a contemporary art exhibit about the immigration justice movement, highlighting detention and deportation as it affects citizens and noncitizens alike.
