Loyola University Chicago announces the State of the Neighborhood forum to address safety initiatives in the Rogers Park Community. A panel of speakers will include Joe Moore, 49th Ward Alderman; Roberto Nieves, Commander of the 24th District, Chicago Police Department; Shawn Sisk, CAPS Sergeant; Thomas K. Murray, Director of Campus Safety and Chief of Police; Tim McGuriman, Associate Vice President of Capital Planning, and an MV Transportation representative (shuttle and 8-RIDE provider).

This event will provide an opportunity for the campus community to engage with key City, neighborhood, and Loyola leaders about area crime, trends, and challenges. We will also review the University's present safety initiatives and communication, and we look forward to hearing your ideas for new initiatives to implement. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served.
