The Hank Center is excited to host a two-day symposium this September called *Citizenship, Public Service, and the Common Good.* In light of the many social ills that have been exposed over the last year and the sometimes-surreal presidential primary season, the Center invites to faculty, students, and concerned citizens together to discuss some of the issues facing us today before the November elections. On Wednesday, September 21st, please join us for scholarly panels on such issues as migration and immigration, child trafficking and exploitation, as well as challenges faced by undocumented and DREAMer students. The following panels of experts were brought by the Center for the Human Rights of Children. The Keynote Speaker is Peter Neeley, S.J. of the Kino Boarder Initiative. The second part of the day will be focused on American gun culture and lack of gun control, and an evening forum on global security and U.S. policy. The keynote Speaker is Firmin DeBradbander, author of *Do Guns Make Us Free?: Democracy and the Armed Society.*
