4:00 - 5:30 p.m.Ato Quayson is University Professor and Director of the Centre for Diaspora and Transnational Studies at the University of Toronto. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, general editor of the Cambridge Journal of Postcolonial Literary Inquiry, and author or editor of more than ten books on a wide range of topics in postcolonial and diasporic literature and literary theory. These include Aesthetic Nervousness: Disability and the Crisis of Representation (2007), Oxford Street, Accra (2014), and the two-volume Cambridge History of Postcolonial Literature (2012). He is presently at work on a new monograph titled Postcolonial Literary Tragedy.
