    This week's Coffee Talk will feature a panel of Loyola law graduates who will discuss their professional pathways to securing employment working on behalf of children and families. They will also describe their work and provide advice to current students on how to maximize opportunities for careers in this diverse and rewarding field of practice. Speakers will include Phillip Brigham, a solo practitioner of criminal law, Katie Mackey, from the Office of the Cook County Public Defender's Child Protection Division, Melanie MacBride, who specializes in family law at the Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Family Services and Alexandra Roffman, a current Equal Justice Works Fellow working with incarcerated mothers and children at Cabrini-Green Legal Aid. Resources materials will also be distributed.

    Coffee Talk is held most Wednesdays from 4 to 4:50 p.m. in the ChildLaw Center- 11th floor of the Corboy Law Center. Coffee, tea and cookies are served. All students, faculty and staff are welcome.
