Registration is required online via Eventbrite. The registration fee is waived for Loyola and Gottlieb employees.This knowledge-based educational program for pharmacists will consist of three 30 minute sessions. The review will consist of common and novel therapies used in the treatment of cystic fibrosis, general treatment strategies and the role of oral prostacylins in the management of pulmonary hypertension, and modalities used for desensitization prior to transplantation of the sensitized lung transplant candidate. A brief question and answer session will be held after each presentation. Loyola University Medical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program is eligible for 2 hours (0.2 CEU) of continuing education credit.
