Loyola University Chicago will host a community conversation with Cook County¿s criminal justice stakeholders on Thursday, April 6th. The forum will present information about Cook County¿s Safety and Justice Challenge, an initiative supported by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation to reform jail and pretrial release practices while preserving public safety. This interactive event will include an update on recent reforms and will provide an opportunity for community members to provide their feedback. Loyola¿s Center for Criminal Justice Research, Policy and Practice has collaborated with Cook County on the Safety and Justice Challenge as part of Loyola¿s commitment to social justice.
