    This sequence is useful for schools who have not yet established Professional Learning
    Communities (PLCs) or schools that would like to increase the effectiveness of current
    teams/departments within their school. The administrative team will begin this professional
    development series by reflecting upon their school's mission and goals and deciding how to
    establish structures within their school to support PLCs in driving improvement in their
    buildings. The entire faculty will spend a day learning about the value of PLCs and the process
    for implementation. Throughout the school year, PLC team leaders will engage in 2 face-to-face
    professional development sessions to continue to support and develop PLCs as well as virtual
    support via an online community.
