Education, Research & Service: Holistic engagement in our Maywood community
The Humanities Forum will focus on the ways in which Amy Luke, PhD, (and others at HSD) interact with the community in which Loyola resides, Maywood, through education, research and service. Dr. Luke will discuss the progression of her thinking and actions around community engagement, and the importance of strong community connections. Maywood Fine Arts, the organization which prompted her family's move to Maywood, will be highlighted and a group of young dancers will also perform.
