Nadine Suleiman Naber, Gender Studies, UIC will speak on *Social Justice and Feminist Futures:
America Beyond White Supremacy and Islamophobia*.
This lecture will provide a feminist and social justice critique of the war on terror and recent attacks on Arabs and Muslims. It offers alternative frameworks for conceptualizing current historical events through the lenses of women of color feminism; queer of color critique; coalition politics and joint struggle.
