On the heels of clashes in Charlottesville, monument removals in cities like New Orleans and Baltimore, and discussion about reparations at the University of Chicago, come hear perspectives from Chicago-area historians on monuments and how we remember the past. Panelists include Leslie Harris (Northwestern University), Theodore Karamanski (Loyola University Chicago), Kate Masur (Northwestern University), and Guy Emerson Mount (University of Chicago). Q&A follows the panel.

Co-sponsored by the following Loyola University Chicago organizations: Art History Club, History Department, History Graduate Student Association, Mobilizing for Justice, and Phi Alpha Theta, the history honor society.
