The People's Institute (TPI) aims to empower students to explore and reflect upon the interconnection between leadership and social justice. TPI is now working in conjunction with SLD & SDMA to host a space for participants to be in community and provide opportunities to listen to and share stories. This event is inspired by Gonzaga University's faculty member, Joe Albert, and his Story Slam program, which explores leadership through storytelling. The Story Slam event is open to the entire campus and features TPI facilitators and participants who share their leadership narratives. If you have any questions or are interested in possibly participating in the Story Slam, please do not hesitate to contact Joe Saucedo (jsaucedo4@luc.edu), Director of Student Diversity & Multicultural Affairs, or Shannon Howes (showes1@luc.edu), Director of Student Leadership Development.
