Karen Patricia Williams, PhD, will present ''Bringing Yourself to the Research Table: Developing the KinKeeper Cancer Prevention Model''. Dr. Williams is the Distinguished Professor of Women's Health, and Director of the Center for Women, Children, and Youth at the College of Nursing, Ohio State University.   She is using her expertise in community-based participatory research and women's health to help African-American and other underrepresented women receive potentially life-saving preventative health care information in the comfort of their own homes and with the support of their families. The Kin Keeper Model is a health advocacy model that involves community, family, and health care providers working together.
