In collaboration with the Poetry Foundation, LUMA will present an evening of poetry and art featuring a short film screening, a poetry reading, and an artist talk. We will screen renowned activist and photographer Roy Lewis¿ short film, Ridin and Stridin, Reachin and Teachin, portraying a day in the Life of Gwendolyn Brooks, followed by poems by Tara Betts, and a presentation by featured artist Tonika Johnson.
