Asim Gangopadhyaya is a professor of Physics, and fluent in Hindi and Bengali.

Asim Gangopadhyaya received his PhD in theoretical physics from the City University of New York and has developed a distinguished career as a research active scientist and an educator.

With expertise and interest in the field of Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics, his research has centered mostly on identifying and studying the structure of the symmetry within all solvable problems.

Dr. Gangopadhyaya received the Sujack Award for Teaching Excellence in 2003 for his prominent work at Loyola.
