Description	Loyola College of Education is a Catholic, Minority institution situated at Namchi, the South District of Sikkim in a sprawling and picturesque ten acres of land at the foothills of the Himalayas. It has a Governing Body with the Provincial of Darjeeling Jesuit Province as its President. To support it in the day-to-day running of the Institution there is a Managing Committee of the College with representatives of the Government of Sikkim, the Sikkim University, the Teaching Staff of the College and that of the well known educationists of South Sikkim. The admission to Loyola College of Education, Namchi, is open to all irrespective of their caste, creed or class, sex and place of birth. However, everything being equal, a preferential option is given to the candidates form Sikkim and also those from the under-privileged group whom Christ loved and served most.
