  The FIRST opportunity for 1L students to fulfill the appellate portion of their REQUIRED 1L advocacy requirement. The competition tests appellate advocacy skills. Serving as a bailiff during any round of the competition OR observing the final round (See Feb. 22nd calendar event,) fulfills the requirement.
