Please join us for our annual Non-Profit Opportunities Workshop and Fair on Thursday, January 23!

This free event is an opportunity for Loyola faculty, students, and community partners to attend an afternoon workshop as well as for all of our non-profit partners to recruit Loyola students for volunteering, service-learning, internships, research, or part/full-time work. Last year, about 300 students attended this fair.

Prior to the fair in Damen Center - MPR South, 2nd Floor, we will be offering a workshop. Join us for lunch and a community partner/faculty workshop.

Workshop Topic: Getting What You Want and What You Need: Relationship Building as a Model for Shared Outcome Creation

Workshop Convener: Dr. Mary Price, Director, Faculty Development, Center for Service and Learning, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI)

The Center for Experiential Learning has been working on a new conceptual framework for community partnerships that highlights the importance of relationship building, as well as the relevance of all levels of engagement. Dr. Price will lead us on an exploration of how Loyola and community organizations can work together to get the most out of student community engagement.
