CHILDLAW COFFEE TALK for WEDNESDAY, September 26, 2020

Our presenter for September 26, will be Erin A. Johnson, Chief of Staff for IDJJ and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. The Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice (IDJJ) is responsible for administration of the state¿s youth prison sentence, caring for youth ages 13-21 who have been sentenced to a term of secure confinement. Historically, the Department¿s principal focus has been on issues of institutional security. Under the leadership of the Department¿s current team of administrators, IDJJ recently unveiled a four-year plan that reimagines what a developmentally- appropriate, procedurally fair, non-discriminatory and restorative system of justice looks like. Our presenter will be Erin A. Johnson, Chief of Staff for IDJJ and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School.

All are welcome to attend. Join us virtually at: https://luc.zoom.us/j/97408081031?pwd=N240R3NTclZrNThSQmhzWmJqa080Zz09
