Chronic effects of polyfluoroalkyl substance mixture on Northern Leopard Frog (Lithobates pipiens) development. Zoom link: 990 2343 9460. Join this research seminar hosted by Loyola alum, Edgar Perez, to learn about his emerging research in ecotoxicology. Specifically, this research seminar explores poly- and perfluoroalkyl contaminants found in a variety of household products and wastewater treatment residuals. These contaminants are widely distributed and heavily concentrated around the world, and studies have found an array of their adverse effects on the health of both wildlife and humans. Join Edgar for this seminar to understand more about this growing ecological concern and better understand how this upcoming research can inform environmental policy
