Publications and publishing are words that we constantly hear about as graduate students. Publishing before you start a PhD gives you an upper hand when applying for scholarships and fellowships. Publishing while finishing a PhD often guarantees a job. Basically, publications matter!

This workshop will offer the why and how of publishing academic work, how to make decisions about publishing your dissertation or thesis work, and how the formatting process prepares you better when handling publishing your research.

Margaret Heller, Digital Services Librarian, and Tim Koppang, Grad School Formatter, will be leading this workshop. Registration to attend the workshop is encouraged. Please RSVP at gradresearch@luc.edu.
