All are invited to join the Stritch Jewish Student Association and HSC Ministry teams for a virtual Purim hamantaschen bake on Monday, February 22, 7 p.m. Central.
Please RSVP to JSA President Allie Poles at apoles@luc.edu for the Zoom link and ingredient list.
Purim, which begins next Thursday evening, February 25, is the festive Jewish holiday documented in the Bible's *Book of Esther.* Purim celebrates Queen Esther's heroism in saving the Jewish community of ancient Persia. The traditional Purim holiday food is delicious hamantashen - triangle, fruit-filled pastries.
As many of you remember, we usually have a Purim Table in the Cuneo Center Atrium with mask making and hamantashen. This year, join us for JSA's first ever *Hamantashen Bake* with our Master Chef from our Virtual Challah Bake, Nechama Dina Bergstein.
We hope to see you on Monday evening!
