    The 2021 Loyola University Chicago Black Lives Matter Conference Committee is joyful to announce our virtual conference happening April 9th-April 10th, 2021!

    It will take place from 6:00pm-8:30pm on Friday, April 9th and continue from 9:30am-3:30pm on Saturday, April 10th.

    The theme for this year is Black Lives Matter in The Pandemic: Health, Activism, and Healing. The mission of the LUC Black Lives Matter Conference (BLMC) is to bring people together to raise consciousness, empower communities, promote healing and form solidarity.

    Scholars, writers, artists, activists, students, educators, and community members will come together virtually via LUC BLMC to engage in social change and critical conversations on Black identity during this global pandemic.

    The conference will feature a Keynote Speech from Dr. Venus Evans-Winters, Educational Workshops, and Entertainment! Additionally, thanks to this years sponsors the first 150 registrants will receive conference packages filled with gifts and lunch credits from Grubhub!
