This lecture focuses on the intersectionality of Native American legal issues and environmental justice. Ms. Lord will begin with a brief overview of Federal *Indian* law, including discussions of sovereignty and treaty rights, then turn to how these areas of law interact with environmental law. She will provide examples from her work as    a litigator. The lecture will, as always, conclude with a Q&A session. An informal student-led discussion will follow.

The is the 7th lecture in the year-long series, The Social Impacts of Environmental Injustice. This lecture is produced by the Loyola University Chicago School of Law Environmental Law Society in cooperation with the Latino Law Students' Association, Black Law Students' Association, and Asian Pacific American Law Students' Association.
