    This seminar will address important developments in the area of education law and policy in K-12 schools during the past year. The program includes:
    ¿        a session focusing on diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism in education law;
    ¿        a legal and legislative update from the Illinois State Board of Education; and
    ¿        a panel discussion on the way forward for special education in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

    This program has been approved by the Illinois MCLE Board for 3.5 hours of general credit, including 1.25 hours of Diversity & Inclusion professional responsibility credit. The seminar and MCLE credit for attorneys are offered free of charge.
