    About the Symposium
Each year, the Beazley Institute and Annals of Health Law & the Life Sciences journal hosts a symposium that examines the legal and policy issues surrounding health care on local, national, and international levels. Held each fall, the symposium is named in honor of Bernard Beazley, the Institute's benefactor.

This year's Symposium will explore the recent evolution of mental health care practice and policy, with a particular focus on developments associated with the dramatic rise in mental health needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
