Mexicans and Mexican Americans have called Chicago home since the 1920s, when they began arriving as immigrant laborers. Today, more than two million people of Mexican descent live and work in Chicago, having forged a social and cultural identity over time. This tour explores that history and the development of Mexican Chicago with visits to various sites including Benito Juárez High School, St. Pius V Catholic Church, and the National Museum of Mexican Art.
