    This teach-in provides an opportunity to learn about the background to the current events unfolding in Afghanistan in the aftermath of the American withdrawal, collapse of the government, takeover by the Taliban, and frantic evacuation. An interdisciplinary panel will offer diverse perspectives on topics
    including recent Afghan history, discourses around Afghan women and Islamic law, the global War on Terror, regional political implications, what can we do from here to help refugees, and the perspectives of ordinary Afghans followed by Q&A.
