Dr. Nicole Gastala is a proud graduate of the Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at the University of Iowa. She is double board-certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Gastala has worked in rural and underserved FQHC's, and now serves as the Director of Behavioral Health at UI Health Miles Square Health Center. She has been featured in the New York Times for her extraordinary work in taking on the opioid epidemic in rural Iowa.
