I chose the PROLAW program because it aligned with my aspirations in making substantial contributions to the field of rule of law. Because of my experience at PROLAW, I understand that I have been given the opportunity to participate in a more substantial way on business development in regards to technical cost proposals research, and stakeholder engagement. Administrative duties that I had experience in previously, such as contracts, procurement, and more importantly, budgeting and financial tracking, now make more sense in the interwoven fabric of international development. I am able to approach these with an inner confidence I lacked before.

PROLAW has also enabled me to have discussions directly related to my area of study within my capstone, which gives me a chance to disseminate some of my learning directly into future programs. I am infinitely grateful for the courses and experiences I gained during my time with PROLAW as they have served me in my day-to-day work and will continue to propel me into greater professional opportunities where I can continue making a difference.
